Karen Breslin brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to justice to her candidacy for District Attorney of the 23rd Judicial District. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Karen’s journey took her to Colorado, where she earned her bachelor’s degree from Metro State University of Denver, followed by a graduate degree from the University of Colorado Denver, and ultimately a law degree from the University of Denver in 2002. Her diverse career has equipped her with a unique perspective on the law, community service, and leadership.

 

With a background as a professor, lawyer, and program manager with the National Park Service, Karen has demonstrated her ability to navigate complex issues, advocate for others, and manage large-scale initiatives. Her extensive experience in law and public service has prepared her to set the right tone for the 23rd Judicial District from day one. As District Attorney, Karen will leverage her knowledge and passion to ensure that justice is served fairly, the community is protected, and the District Attorney’s office operates with the integrity and accountability that the people deserve.
